    Three Forks Adventure Company, LLC is a woman-owned outdoor recreation business based in Beattyville, Kentucky, dedicated to helping people experience the waterways of Eastern Kentucky through safe, memorable, and accessible adventures.

    From a relaxing afternoon paddle to a multi-day river expedition, Three Forks Adventure Company combines quality equipment, local knowledge, and thoughtful planning to help paddlers of all skill levels enjoy more of what the region has to offer.

    The idea behind the business is simple: some of the best outdoor experiences are right here, but they can feel out of reach if you don't own the equipment, know the waterways, or have someone local to help with the details.

    Three Forks Adventure Company was created to bridge that gap for visitors and the people who call Eastern Kentucky home.

      My love for kayaking grew into a passion during the COVID-19 pandemic. While many activities came to a halt, I found myself spending countless days exploring and mapping the North Fork and South Fork of the Kentucky River. Those rivers became a place of peace, offering a quiet escape through winding bends, towering rock formations, gravel bars, and sandy shoals. With very few homes along the river, each trip felt like stepping into a landscape untouched by time.

      For more than 10 years, I have enjoyed paddling throughout Kentucky and have experience on Class I and Class II waterways. Over the years, I have gained firsthand knowledge of local river conditions, access points, trip planning, water safety, and the unique natural features that make Eastern Kentucky such a special place to explore.

      Three Forks Adventure Company was created to share that experience with others. Whether someone is trying kayaking for the first time, looking for a peaceful day on the water, or planning a multi-day river adventure, my goal is to make the experience safe, enjoyable, and memorable.

      Customers can choose the adventure that best fits their comfort level. Some may simply rent equipment and explore on their own, while others may prefer a guided experience where I accompany the group, provide instruction, share local knowledge, and help ensure a safe and enjoyable trip.

      I believe some of the most memorable adventures happen away from the crowds. Three Forks Adventure Company invites visitors to discover the quieter side of Eastern Kentucky—where the Kentucky River begins and every bend offers a new view.
