Description

Appalachian music and family roots run deep for Phillip Durbin and Gram Durbin. This local father-and-son duo shares a passion for country, bluegrass, folk, soul, and rock and roll, honoring the songs and stories passed down through generations of their family.

Joining them will be Roy Lee Centers, grandson of Roy Centers who played with Ralph Stanleys band in 1970s. Roy Lee grew up playing playing music with his dad Lennie Centers and has often attended the Woolly Worm Festival with the Centerline Band.

Their string-band sound blends rootsy original songs with covers from classic artists such as Woody Guthrie, John Prine, the Beatles, and many more. Come enjoy a performance celebrating family, tradition, and the joy of making music together!

Catch Phillip and Gram Durbin with Roy Lee Centers at the Woolly Worm Festival on Friday, October 23, at 5 p.m. in downtown Beattyville.
