Description

Born and raised in Stanton, Kentucky, near the Red River Gorge, Chelsea Nolan grew up surrounded by music. Playing alongside her brother, fellow singer-songwriter Josh Nolan, she explored piano, guitar, and drums before finding her own voice as a songwriter.

Her country sound and Appalachian roots come through in original songs filled with candid stories of love, heartbreak, and lessons learned. Drawing from personal experiences, Chelsea brings humor, grit, and heart to her music. Her debut EP, chelsea., was recorded at Nashville’s renowned Blackbird Studios with a talented lineup of regional musicians. She has also performed at festivals including Master Musicians Festival and Kickin’ It on the Creek.

Join us for an afternoon of Kentucky music as Chelsea Nolan takes the Town Square Stage at the Woolly Worm Festival on Sunday, October 25, at 1 p.m. in downtown Beattyville!
